Lectors

A religious reader is sometimes referred to as a lector. The lector proclaims the Scripture readings used in the Liturgy of the Word from the official, liturgical book (lectionary). Women and men who read loudly, clearly and comprehensively are encouraged to become a part of this ministry.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist

These individuals distribute the Body and Blood of Christ to the assembly at Mass.

Greeters and Ushers

Greeters welcome and ushers tend to the needs of the congregation, collect the donations and assist with the seating of the parishioners at the Saturday and Sunday Masses.

Choir Members/ Music Program

Among the many signs and symbols used by the church to celebrate its faith, music is of pre-eminent importance. Music assists the assembled believers in expressing and sharing the gift of faith that is within them and to nourish and strengthen their interior commitment of faith.
